our commitments: partnerships

collaborations, causes, charities

All Lore Group hotels have a big heart for their local communities, and our teams think deeply about what might be needed in our neighbourhoods as well as further-flung corners of the globe. We don’t just donate money as a token gesture or tick boxes to virtue signal – we believe in cultivating meaningful long-term relationships with charities and causes.

On a global level, One Hundred Shoreditch are proud to partner with the Made Blue Foundation, an entrepreneurial charity whose mission is clean water for all. Their life-changing projects operate in regions of water scarcity across the world. Closer to home, we are working with our friends at EARNT to support local charities and causes.

made blue foundation

Providing clean water where it’s needed most, across Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Made Blue Foundation is an entrepreneurial water charity on a mission to ensure everyone has access to clean drinking water. With rising global temperatures, water stress and scarcity have long been recognised as critical risks by the World Economic Forum. Few understand this urgency better than Made Blue, founded in the Netherlands in 2014 to address the challenge head-on.

Through Lore Group’s partnership with Made Blue, every room night sold across our hotels funds 100 litres of clean, fresh water. Guests staying at any of our six hotels receive this ‘gift’ to pay forward - empowering them to choose where and whom their contribution will support.

In 2024 alone, One Hundred Shoreditch made available 7,816,110 litres of clean drinking water - enough to supply at least 107 people with safe water for 10 years or more. Follow our latest impact here.

earnt

A win-win initiative activating activists to do good for cool goods.

This purpose-led platform rewards good deeds with great goods and limited-edition or money-can’t-buy items and experiences. Conscious consumerism never felt so considerate, thanks to brands being matchmade with volunteers to convert a desire for something special to connect doers with something that needs doing.

Lore Group and EARNT have come together to create a new environment of community and hotel collaborations through campaigns with a cause. Each Lore property works with a local charity which requires volunteers. Events vary, ranging from 10 to 30 participants, available to new and existing customers and guests of Lore Group hotels.

In 2024, the One Hundred Shoreditch team worked with EARNT on a project to makeover the Samuda Community Centre, Club 55 - aka Island Network Hub - in East London over a weekend. The centre is at the heart of the local community, an anchor for the hundreds of locals who utilise it weekly.

We engaged volunteers to join our team to make repairs, clean and decorate. A chance to give back to our local community, and bring our team together with EARNT volunteers to make a tangible difference.
